Gemme Cookbooks was founded in 2024 with a specific goal in mind: to bring people together the best way we know how — through cookbooks. We specialize in unique, one-of-a-kind cookbooks that promote celebrations and gatherings, such as Friday night shabbat dinners. We believe in the power of connection and community, of sharing and creating memories through a meal.

Cooking and eating dinner together every night has always been our top priority as a family. With full time jobs, two kids and two dogs, we’re a busy crew that pride ourselves on being able to sit down at the dinner table with a delicious dish, made from one of our many cookbooks that we collected over the years.

Finally, the lightbulb moment came when we realized that we can share the joy with others. While the internet is filled with thousands of recipes, nothing beats the purposeful consideration that one takes while flipping through a cookbook. Cookbooks have been a uniting force in our family, showing us how to make dishes we never could’ve dreamed of, allowing us to teach our own children the tricks we knew, and ultimately enjoy what we’ve created.
